Jeanette Climbs The O2 Arena

O2 1200X647
Jeanette suffered a knee disarticulation amputation in 2017 after being hit by a car. Following her initial recovery, Jeanette visited Blatchford Clinic in Basingstoke for the provision of a new prosthetic limb. Her ambitious goal at the time was to get to a stage in her rehabilitation where she could climb The O2 arena in London.

After being fitted with a prosthetic limb with microprocessor-controlled knee, Jeanette achieved her goal and scaled The O2 in July this year. Jeanette invited her Blatchford Clinic team with her for support on the day and so Jayne Nixon, Physiotherapist, and I also climbed The O2. At the summit, we celebrated Jeanette’s huge achievement with a champagne toast before taking on the challenging descent.
