Corrin Glenn

Principal Orthotist

I'm Corrin, the Principal Orthotist at the Blatchford Clinic in Sheffield.

I graduated from Salford University in 2001 with a BSc in Prosthetic and Orthotics.  Following graduation, I moved to Cardiff to work in NHS clinics as an orthotist.

After completing my MBA, I took on a new challenge and got involved in business development with a biomechanics company. I continued to practice clinically during this time and found a real passion for biomechanics. I even started giving training courses to other healthcare professionals and students.

In 2007, I moved back to Manchester and took on the role of Clinical Lead in the Greater Manchester Hub. I loved the opportunity to lead and make a difference in patient care.

In 2013, I moved to Brighton and started to work independently, as a locum and for a private orthotic company, before eventually returning to Yorkshire in 2015. Initially, I worked as a locum and became a private Clinician in Leeds before joining the Blatchford Clinic.

When I'm not at the clinic, I'm at home with my husband and three lively little boys. They keep me busy and ensure I have plenty of things to do in my free time.

I enjoy working within the private clinic as I get to spend more time with patients and ensure they receive appropriate treatment.
